About Ace Access Homes

Your Home Should Adapt to Your Needs.

Ace Access Homes puts two specialists in one firm: a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist who plans for how the body ages, and a licensed California contractor who builds to that plan. We serve our neighbors across Ventura County, the Conejo Valley, and West Los Angeles.

A Letter From the Founder

Why I Started Ace Access Homes

Paul Park, founder of Ace Access Homes
Paul Park
Founder, Ace Access Homes
Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist
Dear Neighbor,

I started Ace Access Homes because of the question families ask after a fall or a frightening diagnosis: what has to change about this house so that she can stay in it? Two industries each hold half of the answer.

The medical equipment industry brings hardware: safe, but it looks like a hospital, and nobody there holds a license to change the house itself. General contractors build to code, not to a person, so the toilet that passes inspection is the one your mother cannot stand up from. In between sits the family, carrying a therapist's instructions to a builder who has never read a discharge plan.

Ace Access Homes exists to take that job off the family. I am a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist, trained in how aging changes movement, reach, and balance. Ace Access Homes is a licensed and insured California contractor, CSLB #1087045. The clinical reasoning and the construction live in the same firm, so what should be built and how it gets built are decided together, by people who answer directly to you.

That pairing is rare, and you do not have to take my word for it. Ask any company you are considering two questions: who holds the contractor's license, and who holds the aging-in-place certification. Most can answer one. Ace Access Homes was built to answer both.

If it is time to take a careful look at your home, start with the free Home Safety Check: a phone or video call, and written findings that are yours to keep. We would be glad to meet you.

Sincerely, Paul Park Founder, Ace Access Homes
What to Expect

How We Work

Every recommendation arrives in writing.

You receive written findings with the risks ranked by urgency and each fix explained in plain English, and the document is yours to keep whether or not you hire us. We recommend the smallest set of changes that makes the biggest difference, and we put that in writing too.

Founder-led and locally owned.

There is no 1-800 number, no call center, and no franchise script. The standards on this page were set by the owner, who lives in the community he serves and answers for every job that carries the company's name.

One firm carries the whole scope.

Stairlifts, grab bars, walk-in showers, ramps, vertical platform lifts, and kitchen accessibility are planned and built by one accountable team. No handoffs between companies, no gaps between scopes, and nothing for you to coordinate during an already difficult season.
